Dear Friends of ACLU,

At the request of the Executive Director of the Tropic Cinema, Paul Melroy, I’m informing you about the Social Justice Series, 4N4J, starting tomorrow at the Tropic. The annual series shows documentaries that address issues of social justice and diversity. There will be a reception before the screening and a discussion with the filmakers afterwards. Tickets for non-members are $15 each. The receptions are at 6 PM, with the screenings at 6:30 PM.

This year’s films are:
National Bird, tomorrow, March 29;
Do Not Resist, April 5;
Newtown, April 12;
Almost Sunrise, April 19.

In addition, you may be interested in the screening of 1984 on April 4 at 6:35 PM. Tickets for non-members are $10. The Tropic joins cinemas across the country for this national showing of 1984.

See you at the movies.
Mary
